Privacy policy

PointMade is a free forecasting game for crypto prices. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Account: when you sign in with Apple we receive an Apple user ID and, if you share it, your email address (this may be an Apple private relay address) and name.
- Profile: the display name you choose and your @handle. These are public to other PointMade users.
- Your activity: the calls you make (coin, candle, direction, confidence, the optional reason you write), their results and points, who you follow, who you block, and reports you send.
- Notifications: if you allow them, a push token for your device, its platform and the app version.
- Feedback: answers you choose to give in the in-app survey, and whether you asked for early access to Pro.
What others can see
Your name, handle, record and calls are visible to signed-in users. A call's direction and confidence stay hidden from others until the candle's calls close, unless they have also called that candle. People you block can't see your profile or follow you.
How we use it
To run the game (score calls, show profiles and your friends' calls), send the notifications you turned on, keep the community safe (handle reports and abuse), and improve the app from feedback. Our legal basis is providing the service you asked for and our legitimate interest in keeping it safe and working.
Who processes it
- Supabase hosts our database and sign-in (servers in Singapore).
- Expo and Apple deliver push notifications.
- Price charts load public market data directly from Binance's market-data service, so Binance sees your device's IP address when you view a chart. No account or personal data is sent to them.
- Headlines link to the publisher's website (CoinDesk, The Block, Bloomberg), which has its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, we remove your name, handle, follows, blocks, push tokens and sign-in right away. Calls you made are kept without your identity (shown as "Deleted user") so other players' records and results stay correct. Reports about you may be kept as long as needed to keep the community safe.
Your choices and rights
- Change your notification settings in the app, or turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
- Delete your account any time: Me → Settings → Delete account.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion by emailing support@getpointmade.com. Depending on where you live you may have further rights (for example under the GDPR); contact us to use them, or complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
PointMade isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
